Tidewater is a small, local surf and paddle school on Morjim beach in North Goa. Our instructors are certified coaches and lifeguards who grew up on this coast. Beginner surf lessons on soft-top boards, sunrise kayak trips through the Chapora mangroves, and stand-up paddle sessions at sunset. Small groups, all gear included, and we only go out when the sea says yes.

I can’t swim. Can I still surf?
For surf lessons you should be comfortable in waist-deep water; we stay in the shallows and you wear a leash. For kayak and SUP you wear a life jacket and swimming is not required.
What is the minimum age?
Kids from 8 years can surf with us; under-18s need a parent or guardian to sign the waiver.
When is the season?
October to May is our main season. We run reduced sessions in the monsoon only when the sea allows.
What if the weather is bad?
Safety comes first. If we or the lifeguards call off a session because of the sea or the weather, you can move to another session or get a full refund.
Where do we meet?
At the Tidewater hut on Morjim beach, next to the turtle-nesting enclosure. Google Maps link comes with your booking.
Do you do group or corporate bookings?
