Small-group Himalayan journeys, led by people who live for the mountains

We are a team of trekkers, drivers and homestay hosts who have been taking small groups into Spiti, Uttarakhand and the North-East since 2017. Groups of 12-16, trip leaders who have done the route dozens of times, stays with local families, and an itinerary that leaves room to actually sit and look at the mountains.

“I quit a sales job in Gurgaon in 2016 after my third trip to Spiti, and Peaks & Trails started as a WhatsApp group of 9 friends. Today we run 60+ departures a year, but the rule is the same: I would only sell a trip I would happily go on myself. Small groups, real homestays, and a trip leader who knows every chai stop on the route.”

Spiti with Peaks & Trails was the best 8 days of my year. Rohit bhaiya knew every village, every homestay aunty and every chai stop. Booking and payment were super smooth too.

Karan Malhotra

Did Kedarkantha with them last winter. Well-organised, great food at camp and the summit push was handled really safely.

Ananya Iyer

Went solo to Meghalaya and came back with 12 friends. The living root bridge trek and the Dawki boat ride were magic.

Siddharth Rao

Long drives on the Spiti circuit, as expected, but the team kept things fun and the stays were cosy. Would book again.

Meera Kulkarni

Loved that I could see my PNR, payments and packing list in one place instead of 40 WhatsApp messages.

Vikram Thakur

Third trip with Arjun and team. Honest pricing, no hidden costs, and they actually reply on time.

FAQ's

I am travelling solo. Will I fit in?

Almost half of every group comes solo. Rooms are shared with travellers of the same gender, and the first evening is always a group dinner so nobody stays a stranger for long.

How fit do I need to be?

Our road trips need no fitness at all. For treks like Kedarkantha, you should be able to walk 5 km in under 45 minutes; we send a 4-week prep plan after you book.

How do payments work?

Pay a small advance online to lock your seat, and the balance up to 10 days before departure (UPI, card or bank transfer). You get a PNR and a traveller portal straight away.

What about altitude sickness?

Our itineraries climb gradually with acclimatisation days built in. Trip leaders carry pulse oximeters and oxygen, and check everyone every evening.

Can you do a private trip for our group?

Yes. Send us your dates and group size from the contact form and we will share a custom quote within a day.

Are your trips safe for women?

Yes. We have run 260+ departures with mixed and all-women groups, verified drivers and stays, and a female co-leader on request.

Leave your number and we will call back the same day.

Why choose us?

Every departure has a dedicated trip leader and a backup vehicle. We cap groups at 16, stay with local families wherever we can, and publish our cancellation policy up front. Oxygen cylinders, a full medical kit and satellite-phone coverage on every high-altitude route.
